We are so thrilled that the November issue of Homes & Antiques includes a three-page feature on The Design Archives.
The article delves into the fascinating history of our director Sharon Crowson’s successful family business, Crowson Fabrics Ltd, which was founded by her father in the 1970s and at its peak was selling 10 million yards of fabric a year.
As the article explains, the company’s vast and varied collection of around 5,000 historic designs are now united under the Crowson Archive name, and are all available to license.
Here at The Design Archives we have drawn on this fantastic resource for a large majority of our fabrics, from Tree of Life, Amadour and Tiffany, to Celeste, Grosvenor and the designs in our fabulous new collection Shala.
